Mr. M. G. Parameswaran receives the Distinguished Alumnus Award at the 50th Institute Day, 2009

This photograph was taken on 17 April 2009 when IIT Madras celebrated its 50th Institute Day. IIT Madras presents its highest award to alumni, known as the Distinguished Alumnus Award (DAA), during Institute Days.
Mr. M. G. Parameswaran was one of the recipients that year. He graduated from IIT Madras with a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering in 1977 and is an Executive Director and CEO at Draft FCB Ulka Advertising.
The photograph shows Prof. M. S. Ananth who was the Director of IIT Madras (2001-2011) at that time, presenting the award to Mr. M. G. Parameswaran. The third person at the right side of the photograph is Mr. K. V. Rangaswami [Whole-time Director & President (Construction), L&T Ltd] who was the chief guest for the function.
