This photograph was taken during IIT Madras’ 20th convocation. The day also marked the inauguration of the newly constructed Student Activities Centre (SAC).

Sivasailam (Chairman, Board of Governors of IIT Madras, second from right), Mr. Giani Zail Singh (chief guest and President of India, fourth from right), Dr. Raja Ramanna (Chairman, Board of Governors of IIT Bombay, fifth from right) and Mr. A. M. M. Arunachalam (former Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT Madras, sixth from right). The other personalities in the photograph are yet to be identified.
