There are people on the stage behind the speakers, who are both wearing IIT Madras tags. A large audience can also be seen towards the centre and the right side of the photograph. Perhaps this photograph captured one of the more fun events which were also conducted during Saarang under the name ‘Informals.’
According to the event schedule of 2005, some of the other events were Quiz, Potpourri, Extempore, Informals, Creative Writing, Debate, Fine Arts, Radio Play and Crossie. Apart from events and competitions, there were also live Professional Shows and workshops conducted during Saarang. This edition of Saarang took place from 21 to 26 January 2005.
