A large model of the campus was created in the early years of the Institute. We know that it was on display in the foyer of the Building Sciences Block. The Heritage Centre has several photographs in which the model is visible. The 3D model is unfortunately no longer available.

Dr. Pauling, the American scientist won the Nobel Prize (in Chemistry in 1954 and the Peace Prize in 1962). Ava Helen Pauling was a human rights activist who was involved in various social movements such as women’s rights, racial equality and international peace.
