This photograph was found in an album containing photographs from the visit of Mr. Walter Scheel to IIT Madras in 1963. It is not clear when this photograph was taken but we think it could be between the years 1972 to 1978, when Mr. K. T. Chandy (extreme right) was the Chairman of the Board of Governors.

Also seen in Prof. K. A. V. Pandalai from the Aeronautical Engineering Department. Prof. Pandalai was the Director of IIT Madras from 1973 to 1977.
