This photograph was taken during IIT Madras’ annual cultural fest Saarang. At Saarang, plenty of competitions and events were organized for participants who came from various colleges across the country. Most of the events were held around the Humanities and Social Sciences Block and its premises.
We can ascertain that this photograph was taken at the entrance of the Central Lecture Theatre (CLT) because of the fact that the decorative beams are still in place today.
