At Saarang, 2003

This photograph was taken during IIT Madras’ annual cultural and social event. It shows several individuals seated in front of the audience. We know from reports in The Hindu and The Fourth Estate that plenty of events and competitions were held during Saarang in this year. Some of the popular competitions and events were Choreo-nite, Western music (called Powerchord) and light music. It is likely that this photograph was taken at one of these events, but this is not confirmed.
The individuals in the photograph have not been identified. It is possible that they are the judges and coordinators for a competition. If you have any information regarding their identities, please reach out to us.
