At Saarang 2003

This photograph was taken during IIT Madras’ annual cultural fest Saarang. Saarang was previously called Mardi Gras but the name was changed in 1996. This photograph appears to have been taken at a competition, possibly dramatics, but this has not been confirmed.
According to a report in The Fourth Estate, seven plays were staged. The report mentions “One of the judges did point out that the quality of the competition had dipped in the four years he’d been coming.”
