It is unclear if this was taken at an Informals event during Saarang 2005. However, it shows college students excited, and dancing, at an outdoor location on the IIT Madras campus.
The 2005 edition of Saarang saw numerous events such as Creative Writing, Potpourri, Crossie, Informals, Music Quiz, Sports Quiz, Business Quiz, Light Music, Western Music, Semi Classical Vocals and Extempore among others, according to the Annual Report of 2004-2005.
There were also several other events such as the Rock Show, Jazz Show, Decibels, Choreo Nite, Light Music, and Classical Music Nite. These events were held at different locations on campus.
