This photograph was taken during the seminar conducted by the German Academic Exchange Service (D. A. A. D.) at IIT Madras in 1968. From the photographs in the album, it is evident that there were several talks held during the event. In this particular photograph, the distinguished guests and faculty of the Institute are seated among the audience.

Sampath (Deputy Director, third from right) and Prof. Gerhard Rouve (Civil Engineering Department, second from right).
