This photograph was taken in 1986, during the Hostel Day of Jamuna Hostel. The photograph shows a group of students having dinner, which would have taken place after the events of the Hostel Day. From the left, the students are: Sharath (the first person on the left), the fourth person from the left is Swarnalatha, followed by N. S. Vinodh, Padma, Ananth, and Krishna Kumar.
A chief guest would be invited to this event and prizes would be distributed to the hostel students who had won events. This photograph refers to the dinner that would have taken place after the Jamuna Hostel Day of 1986. In the image, lanterns can be seen providing light.
