This photograph was taken during IIT Madras’ annual cultural and social fest Saarang. Through the Annual Report of IIT Madras, 2002-2003, we know that there were several events and competitions organized for college students from across the city and country. Some of these events included design contests, quizzes and dramatics. There were plenty of fun events as evidenced by photographs in some of the other Saarang 2003 albums.
