The gun is fired, 1994
This photograph was captured at the 30th Inter-IIT Sports Meet at IIT Madras.
A report in the Annual Report of IIT Madras, 1994 notes that the event was washed out after the first two days. Rains halted the outdoor activities while the indoor events took place without any problems.
The participants of this race are yet to be identified.
