The rock show at Saarang is one of the most anticipated events. Bands from across the country and world have performed at IIT Madras. In this year, the band Brahma from Mumbai performed at the Open Air Theatre with their electrifying thrash metal.
The photograph shows vocalist Devraj Sanyal (left) along with a student in the audience. Sanyal appears to be wearing a band t-shirt with the words ‘Virgo Music’ clearly visible. According to a website, Brahma released their first album ‘The World Beyond’ with Virgo music in the 1990s.
