The eleventh convocation invitation card was simple and formal. It was made using firm cartridge paper that was cream coloured. The information on the card included details about the programme such as the time, date and venue of the event as well as details about the chief speaker. The original date of the event was 7th September, 1974 but unfortunately the Prime Minister was unavailable and hence the event had to be postponed by two days. The invitation cards had already been printed for the 7th and hence the date had to be struck out and corrected.
