This photograph appears to be that of a flea as seen under a microscope. This is an unexplained photo, a mystery, as it appears alongside other photographs in the same album, all of which are solely of equipment and instruments from the Machine Dynamics Laboratory of the Applied Mechanics department.

  This photograph shows a band in the middle of their performance during Decibels 2005. Decibels, a Saarang event, is comprised of bands competing against each other. In this image, members of a band are seen performing together. At the back of the stage, the banners announce the names of Saarang and Decibels 2005 with Light Music. Nokia seems to have sponsored this event, as seen from the name on the Decibels banner. Saarang 2005 was conducted from 21 to 26 January 2005.

This photograph was taken during Saarang 2005. The photograph captures the audience and participants at the Business Quiz held during Saarang in 2005. A projector is seen on the table in the photograph, readied to transfer the quiz questions on to the projector screen for the participants and the audience to view.  Apart from this quiz, a Main Quiz was also conducted. The jazz show titled “Be the Change” was performed by R. Prasanna, with Jeff Coffin on sax, Kai Eckhardt on bass guitar and Derico Watson on drum. The person in the image is Derico Watson, seen playing the drums. Be the Change was also the title of the album released by R. Prasanna in 2004. R. Prasanna, better known as Guitar Prasanna, is a musician best known for performing Carnatic music on the guitar.
