In the image, Mr. V. R. Nedunchezhian can be seen addressing the audience. The records show us that Mr. V. R. Nedunchezhian visited IIT Madras on three other occasions at least: For the inauguration of the Sequential Summer School in Mechanical Engineering (May 1967), launch of the Journal of Mathematics and Physical Sciences (24th November 1967) and the eleventh convocation ceremony (9th September 1974).
