In the photograph, standing from the left, are Shahrukh Irani (student of IIT Madras), a person yet to be identified, Murari (student of IIT Madras), and two students from Mount Carmel College. The photograph was taken in front of the staircase at the Central Lecture Theatre.

Shahrukh Irani graduated from IIT Madras during 1983, and has been regarded as a talented orator and an entertaining speaker. He had also participated in events during the festival, such as skit and mono-acting in ‘83. Students from colleges in Bombay, Delhi, Jamshedpur, Bangalore and several other cities attended the cultural festival, and also participated in the events.

N S Vinodh. After completing an early education in Bangalore, N. S. Vinodh obtained his B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras in 1986. Being the secretary of the Photography Club at IIT Madras during his third year, he was an avid photography enthusiast. He then went on to complete his MBA from IIM, Lucknow, and later spent his career holding senior positions in the field of corporate real estate with leading multinational financial services companies. He continued to pursue his hobby of photography, integrating it with his love of travel and wildlife.
