The other programmes included songs by various groups including the Beat-X, (a band consisting of B. Tech. students), a couple of plays including a Tamil play, and a mushaira. Mr. Gopal Ramachandran graduated with a B. Tech. degree in electrical engineering in 1967.

It contained poems, articles and photographs contributed by the IIT Madras students, staff and faculty. Prof. B. Sengupto was the first Director of IIT Madras (1959 to 1967). He was responsible for the growth of IIT Madras in its early years.
