From 1948 to 1952 Prof. Rouve studied civil and mechanical engineering at Technical University, Karlsruhe and in 1952 he joined the world famous ‘Rehbock-Laboratory’ (Hydraulics). From 1955 to 1958, he held the post of chief engineer at the laboratory.
